See a suggested list of materials that form the basic requirements for oil painting here. But basically
bring what you have and are used to working with, bring a subject to paint.
There are tables to work on but bring an easel if you have one.
The afternoon runs from 1-5pm at the Blanchetts factory 58 Napier Road.
Tea, coffee, juice and biscuits will be served.
The numbers are capped at a maximum of 12. This means each person gets personal time from Ian. He answers your queries and the afternoon is crafted around the questions and needs of the group.
Ian will talk to the group and then work individually with each participant as they work on their piece.
Last time each participant went away really encouraged and I have heard from several that they have continued on and have made real progress with their painting.
